Brazilian Holiday 2012

Inspiration for the Holiday 2012 Collection came directly from a travelers walk on a beach in Ipanema, where collecting sea glass is a way of passing time. At the end of a long walk our traveler stumbles upon a treasure chest filled with jeweled opulence as well as “William” our very own “Prince Charming.” It is a perfect fantasy holiday.

Defining characteristics of the Holiday collection include Italian custom cut tumbled glass interspersed with crystal, glass pearls, and hand carved vintage semi-precious stones. The collection is characterized by jewel tones of dark ruby red, deep royal purple and special finished crystals with an aurora borealis treatment. Also included in the collection are glitter ombré python skins, foil tipped snake, vintage foiled crocodile, two toned alligator, laser cut leather and lamé fabrics.

In continuation of our Holiday fantasy, the Resort collection features crystal patterns with palm fronds, tropical florals and abstract sea prints. A nod to vintage Judith Leiber designs, the collection also features un-beaded metal min¬audières shaped like sea shells and novelty clasps. Key ornamentation includes double cut faceted glass stones, rope chain settings with pearl tassels, oversized beach glass ornaments and vintage hand carved mother of pearl stones. Lavender and soft champagne blended with shades of the sea in blues and greens are a common theme throughout the collection, as well as pearl finished python and crocodile in sunset colors.
